A scalable data application that could access and analyse data across multiple vehicle platforms without creating separate versions for each platform.
The challenge was significant
Every new platform traditionally required application modifications, validation, and deployment effort. This slowed innovation, increased costs, and made large-scale fleet operations difficult to manage.
The Solution
Deployment of a Single Global App to Reduce Costs
aicas enabled a true develop-once, deploy-anywhere approach. By abstracting platform differences, including in-vehicle data sources and telematics, the same application could move across vehicles and still receive its data, without being rewritten for each car’s interfaces.
That allowed the customer to deploy and operate it across millions of vehicles while maintaining centralized control and dramatically reducing engineering and operational overhead.

In this specific case we helped our customer to bring the existing application to our platform and make a distributable package out of it. This was a very quick process since both application and platform are based on the same standards.

In this specific case we further supported our customer with additional southside connectors via AUTOSAR to in-vehicle data sources like SOME/IP, that worked universally across vehicle architectures.

This engagement grew out of work in infotainment over many years and now supports in-vehicle telematics capabilities across the entire organization and all its brands, enabling a true software-defined-vehicle vision of the customer.
